Why We Publish

We publish because we think it’s important for public to know. We also publish to strengthen democracy and keep it healthy.

STOP Hunting US

A campaign against journalists targeting

All attacks targeting journalists that remain unpunished must be exposed and acted on !

Founded in 2018, the Newsroom Papers is an independent and nonprofit online-newspaper that produces investigative journalism in the public interest.
Our mission is to produce deeply reported stories about subjects that affect the people lives and The Society.

We believe investigative journalism plays a key role in keeping democracy strong, power accountable and societies more just.

Our investigations are known for their meticulous attention to detail and are months and sometimes years in the making. Moreover, we use an ever-evolving variety of skills and techniques to uncover evidence including: corruption, fraud, money laundering or abuse of power.
Because we support what other journalists are doing, our content consists of articles taken from other investigative journalism organizations and our own investigations

The Newsroom Papers always covers its own costs. Whenever preparing a story, the editorial office does not accept money from outsiders, and refuses all offers to pay for or provide free transportation, housing, or food, and these same restrictions apply to all full-time and freelance correspondents and staff. Any exceptions to this rule are permitted only with the approval of The Newsroom Papers editor-in-chief, and the reasons must be made clear to readers when the story is published.

On average, a journalist is killed every 4 days.
Because our journalists, in their own careers, are facing risks and dangerous situations or are falling victim to threats, we don’t expose them.
